Should You Fly Or Cruise?
Thursday, September 2nd, 2010Are you a flying person or a cruising person? But I believe there is a reason why people travel through a cruise and travel by a plane. People who want to go on luxury cruises are happy staying in one place for a week or two and enjoy themselves within the cruise. People go on a holiday on a plane because they want to spend more than one day on that city or place they visit. Cruise ship does stop in different destinations but only for few hours which doesn’t give you the chance to see the attractions.
Let’s take an example, let’s say you want to go on bank holiday weekend in August. You can’t really go there on a cruise because it will probably take you three days to get there and that’s your holiday over? Well if book official holidays from work then yes you can but only for 3 days cruising is not the best option. These are the times when you are looking for quick getaway to a different European city which you haven’t seen or visited before. That is what I do when I go on holiday to Europe. A lot of people like going to a place where they have been previously. Every time I go on a short break I like visiting a new city.
Over the winter I am planning to go to the Caribbean and I have 20 days off and this is going to be a cruise trip. I will be travelling in cunard cruises from Spain to Caribbean Islands. This cruise trip will last 20 days and is costing me upto £2,000, which is not bad to be honest. I received the deal because I won their social media competition and the prize was 30% discount on their cruises. I would also like to cruise in regent cruises because of the biggest cruise ship in the World, that would definitely be interesting.
